Americo Manufacturing announced that the company has acquired Shamrock Matting (asi 86591) based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Shamrock is a manufacturer of custom-printed logo mats and has been in business since 2000. Shamrock president, Mike Patrick, will be joining Americo as the National Sales Manager for the PromoMatting Division (asi 35750), effective immediately.
PromoMatting has been a leading producer of custom entrance, counter, and anti-fatigue mats for over 40 years. “With this acquisition, we are able to expand our current product offering and streamline key manufacturing processes”, said David Rones, President of Americo’s PromoMatting Division.
This is the fourth floor mat acquisition that Americo has completed within the past five years. “We will continue to grow, both organically and through acquisition, as we capitalize on our competitive advantage of being vertically integrated,” adds Mr. Rones. Americo is one of the few companies in the world that can manufacture and imprint custom matting under one roof.
